Berenger Residence

The objective of this project was to create a luxurious home for a father and his daughter. The goal was to create a space where both felt they could easily entertain and yet feel comfortable enough to call it home. Both farther and daughter are social and because of this they both have their own spaces where they can entertain guests. For example, the daughter has an entertainment room with a state-of-the-art theater and the father has a lounge that has a bar. Though both like to entertain they still want privacy. This was accomplished by keeping those private spaces totally separate from the public areas of the home.

Industrial Refind

Industrial Refined is a design concept which has a touch of industrial style with touches of modernism. This gives the user not only a sense of calmness but also makes the space feel more luxurious. On the first floor this home has a living room that features an electric fire place for cold winters. The kitchen features a nice size island for entertaining guests. It also has a picture window that allows you to take in the city of Atlanta and can serve as a great conversation piece. The entertainment space is connected to an elegant dining room that’s accompanied with a small bar area. The bar has a cozy seating nook overlooking the beautiful city.  This home also comes with a piano, which helps give the space a more elegant feeling. There is also has a grand staircase that connects to the second floor.  The upstairs contains an office space and two bedrooms, one master bedroom and a guest room.

Fahie Residence

This was a team project where we had to design a space for a wonderful elderly couple who has aged while supporting each other and their dreams. They have recently moved from St. Thomas Virgin Island.  Mrs. Vivian Fahie is a paraplegic. However, this did not stop her from wanting to continue to run her own company. Her husband, Mr. Samuel Fahie, has the onset of glaucoma. Keeping all this in mind we came up with the concept Cool Breeze. Through design we were able to create a space that was safe for the couple to live in independently, while also still paying homage to their homeland of St. Thomas.
